Quality Care at a Reduced Price
Colorado CBT has an incredible team of master’s level counseling practicum students and interns ready to work with new patients at a reduced price. Currently enrolled at Northwestern University and University of Denver, our trainees are skilled to offer individual therapy to adults 18+. Our practicum students and interns are equipped to treat: generalized and social anxiety, depression, stress, relationship dissatisfaction, difficulties with dating or family dynamics, difficulty adjusting to life changes, lack of life direction, low self-esteem, loneliness, and insomnia.
How Does Affordable Therapy Work?
Our counseling practicum students and interns work under the direct supervision of our experienced professional therapists. Your sessions will take place between you and the trainee of your choice. Each week, your sessions will be reviewed by a licensed supervising therapist. Your therapist will receive the appropriate guidance to ensure that you’re getting the quality care you deserve. Because our practicum students and interns only see a few patients per week, they have much more time than other therapists to prepare for your sessions. We receive ongoing positive feedback from patients regarding their therapy experience with practicum students and interns.
Sessions with our practicum students and interns are only $50, which is often less expensive than an insurance copay. For a discounted price, you’re getting the professional insight of two therapists. Please note that while our practicum students and interns are available to treat many life circumstances, they do not yet work with couples, children, or families. If you are seeking support for a condition a trainee isn’t able to treat, we hope you’ll connect with one of our other experienced therapists!
